Description:
This course is designed to provide employment related competencies
and knowledge for those people either employed or seeking employment
at the accounting operational level for the areas of payroll, costing,
accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable and small business
accounts.
The Certificate III in Financial Services (Accounts Clerical)
is designed to:
- Prepare students for employment.

Provide students with general Accounting skills so that they
may function effectively in an environment, which needs a support
role where knowledge of Management is necessary.

Provide students with a bridging course into the Certificate
IV in Financial Services (Accounting).

Study Path:
Our Accounting Courses have been developed according to the requirements of the Accounting Training Package (FNS04) and have been approved for delivery by the NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB). They are nationally recognised Qualification with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
Training is delivered in stages which correspond to AQF Levels II -VI. We aim to equip our graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to successfully satisfy the demands of the workplace.
Course Duration:
The course average over 200 hours per term. Each term is of 10 weeks duration there are 4 terms in a year. Students can enroll into this course at the starting of each term. International students are required to undertake full time course work with 20 hours/week of class room attendance. This is a requirement of the student visa.
Exit Point : Certificate III or continue to Certificate IV
Entrance Requirements:
Completion of Year 11 school leavers with basic Accounting exposure and IELTS 5.5
